July 2011 events

Northern Day - Newby.

Despite a slow start our allocated space was filled by lunch time, and although interrupted by two heavy showers, the events in the ring were completed and the sun came out for the presentation of awards.

Colin Wilson joined us with his Wilbot Jaguar Special, in which he recently completed the journey from John O’ Groats to Lands End in aid of charity.

Posh Nosh Run July 31st

We met up at the Cafe Amore, Caenby Corner, for coffee, then off on a lovely 50 mile scenic drive planned by Richard and Marjorie to the Boathouse at Farndon on the Trent bank where a splendid lunch awaited us.

A superb day with lovely weather throughout and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
